Wish Well House, Georgetown Texas Weddings - Alex & Gabby

Alex & Gabby, what a joy it was to capture this season for you—sunshine, spring blooms, puppies and all. Here’s to a lifetime of big celebrations, loyal friendships, and maybe just a few more dogs along the way.

There’s something extra special about a wedding day where everything just works—the weather, the people, the energy—and Alex & Gabby’s celebration in Georgetown, Texas at Wishwell House was exactly that kind of magic. We had been watching the forecast all week, but somehow the rain held off the entire day. Not a single drop. Which meant their dream of an outdoor ceremony in the garden at Wishwell House came to life exactly as they imagined it—lush greenery, soft spring air, and all their favorite people gathered close.

Their color palette set the tone from the start: playful spring oranges, warm pinks, and soft creams woven throughout the florals, bridesmaids’ dresses, and reception details. It felt fresh, vibrant, and completely them. Against the charming white exterior and garden setting of Wishwell House, those colors absolutely glowed. From bouquets bursting with peachy tones to subtle cream accents that softened everything just right, every detail felt intentional without ever feeling overdone. It was elegant, but still full of personality.

Having the ceremony outdoors made everything feel intimate and natural. You could see how grounded Alex & Gabby felt standing up there together. There’s something about natural light and open air that elevates the emotion—it gives space for laughter, happy tears, and those quiet in-between glances that say everything. And with the rain holding off all day, it almost felt like the weather was rooting for them too

One of my favorite parts of the entire day? Their friend group.

Alex & Gabby are surrounded by the kind of college friends who show up fully—hype crew, dance floor starters, emotional support team, all of it. The energy was high from the very beginning and only built throughout the night. You could tell these friendships have history. So many inside jokes, so much shared life, and a whole lot of joy packed into one dance floor. When your wedding feels like one giant reunion of your favorite people, that’s when the party really takes off.

And we absolutely cannot talk about this wedding without mentioning the running joke that defined the months leading up to it.

Their adopted dog had been pregnant with puppies, and they had been fully in “pupping” mode right up until the wedding day. Late nights, tiny squeaks, and lots of puppy snuggles. It became the unofficial countdown story of their engagement season - It was chaotic, sweet, and so perfectly reflective of who they are—loving, committed, and completely all-in.

From the bright spring colors to the garden ceremony at Wishwell House, from the college crew dance floor to the puppy-parent jokes woven throughout the toasts—every part of Alex & Gabby’s wedding felt authentic.

It wasn’t just pretty (though it absolutely was). It was full of laughter, community, and the kind of ease that comes from two people who genuinely love doing life together.

Alex & Gabby, what a joy it was to capture this season for you—sunshine, spring blooms, puppies and all. Here’s to a lifetime of big celebrations, loyal friendships, and maybe just a few more dogs along the way.
