Andrea & John’s Field Maternity Photos at Sunset

There's something quietly magical about Ramona in the spring — the way the hills roll out in every direction, the air still carrying a hint of cool morning even as the sun climbs high, and the fields holding onto their green just a little longer than you'd expect. That's exactly where I met Andrea and John on the perfect April evening, standing in the middle of it all, a few months away from meeting their baby.

San Diego's spring had been a hot one, and honestly? Nobody expected the grass to still be this lush. But Ramona had other plans. The fields glowed that particular shade of soft, pale green — the kind that soaks up golden hour light and gives it back warm and glowing. It felt like the land was in on the secret, holding itself together just long enough for this moment.

We wandered through the tall grass as the afternoon stretched long and lazy, the hills framing everything behind them like a painting someone forgot to finish. So excited for these two to meet their sweet baby boy in July!
